The Flipside

My branding concept was chosen for my cohort’s Graphic Design Capstone exhibition. I chose an eclectic aesthetic that combines digital photography and hand-drawn illustration to reflect the variety of alternative solutions presented by the class. The logo represents the alternative paths or choices that can be made in order to fuel more creative solutions and generate change.

 

THE FLIPSIDE

Alternatives as a Driving Force for Choice and Change

The Flipside explores creative alternatives from varied disciplines: how ideas and products are developed, and the methods, solutions and processes that are used to facilitate effective outcomes and positive change.

Designed around the overall theme of ‘alternatives’, my branding concept for the Graphic Design 2018 Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition uses an eclectic aesthetic that combines digital photography and hand-drawn illustration to reflect the variety of alternative solutions presented by the class. The Flipside logo is designed to represent the alternative paths or choices that can be made in order to fuel more creative solutions and generate change.

The student projects in this exhibit examined how alternative thinking is implemented to advance our lives by researching topics such as education and prison reform, personal development, health, social and technological transformation, improved ease of life and environmental sustainability.
